Mark has a comprehensive background as a commentator and presenter, having worked at four Olympic Games (Beijing, London, Rio, and Tokyo) and two Commonwealth Games (Delhi and the Gold Coast) having called more than 14 Olympic Sports:

His highlights include calling the men’s and women’s 100 meter finals at the 2012 Olympic Games in London, and the men’s high jump final in Tokyo where the gold medal was shared.
In 2010, Mark was part of history at SKY Television NZ by being part of the original commentary team for the first two seasons of College 1st XV Rugby, working alongside former All Black Bull Allen and veteran broadcasters Keith Quinn and Ken Laban.
In 2011, along with John Mcbeth, Mark was lucky enough to be the Track and Field commentator at the IPC (Para-Sport) World Track and Field Championships in Christchurch. This was the last major international sporting event held at QEII stadium before the earthquake.
Mark has also been heavily involved in his chosen sport of Triathlon, having been the lead commentator for the Auckland leg of the ITU World Series and having covered the sport at two Olympics.
Annually Mark travels to Fiji to work on Fiji’s biggest sevens tournament’; Fiji’s Coral Coast Sevens. His commentary goes live across Fiji for the duration of the tournament and his fellow commentators and experts have been George Gregan, Lote Tuqiri, Karl Tenana and Fox Sports, Sean Maloney.
As a presenter Mark has been the face and voice of the NZ Ocean Swim series, Contact Tri TV, NZ Billiards Open, and College 1st XV rugby and regularly appears on TVNZ Breakfast and other panel shows.
He is very comfortable in front of Camera and presents well. Nothing is deemed too hard and he is easy to work with.
